The personalization
is an important part of the idea of Singing
Scarves.
If a scarf is made especially
to one person, this person immediately
recognizes it: it fits to her taste, wardrobe, it may reflect even some of her
secret ideas or some "coded messages" that could be understood only
the wearer of the scarf and the person, who's gift it was.
Even
the scarves I paint just at home are painted to a potential wearer -
some of them are for younger (I mean mental age), some for older, some for
conservative, some for radical, some for shy, some for more extravert people.
It is quite amazing, but when people come to me to buy a scarf to themselves,
they always pick up "the right" one. Of
course this is just the first and not very specific way of personalization.
If the scarf is especially
designed and painted to one person, it suits to her in every aspect - colors,
mentality, needs,
etc.
If
someone loves to wear certain colors, has a favorite book or poem, likes
certain flowers, etc. the scarf could be made
